Síle is a short film that I produced and was director of photography on.

It was a horror film about a new mother who fears that her baby has been taken by the fairies. It’s a film around Irish folklore, where she was afraid her baby was a changeling. She seeks the help of a witchy woman, and therefore wades deeper into the mire of witchcraft and magic.

A short film I produced with friends. Ten minutes, shot in Curracloe in County Wexford on a budget of 1,500 euro.

The baby Síle is never shown on screen.

A long finishing process

It’s had a very, very long and difficult finishing post-production process.

There’s sound design going on. It’s nearly finished, but at the moment it would just be represented by pictures and images.
